Shandwick has been appointed on a French finance ministry project
to raise awareness of the millennium bug among private and public sector
companies. Shandwick will work with ad agency Hemisphere Droit, which is
coordinating the account. The brief includes helping define key
messages, media relations and ensuring the ministry’s message is
conveyed at conferences and trade fairs. Shandwick will work on the
account until the end of March, after which the ministry expects to
appoint an advertising agency on a longer contract.
