Ant and Dec to front Nintendo campaign

Nintendo has struck a deal with TV duo Ant and Dec to front a major brand campaign launching this autumn.

The gaming firm will work with the pair for the next year, and is featuring them in a series of TV ads which hit screens on 16 October. The adverts will offer the public a chance to star in future ads with Ant and Dec.

Nintendo's retained agency The Red Consultancy will attempt to set up a series of media interviews with the pair in the run up to Christmas.

Ant and Dec will also be involved in game development.

Dec said: 'The TV shows we make are for the whole family to watch together. Nintendo make games that the whole family can play together, so it's the perfect match.'

Nintendo UK's general manager David Yarnton said: 'Given Ant and Dec’s popularity with everyone from grandparents to grand children and with the broad appeal of Nintendo’s products from ages five to 95, we knew they’d make the perfect partner for the brand.'
