1. In her new autobiography Fierce, Kelly Osbourne says of her publicist Gary Farrow: 'I have become more frightened of him than my own father. When Gary shouts, fuck me, he shouts, but he has played a massive part in helping me sort my shit out.' Farrow only partially reassured Flack. 'My bark's worse than my bite,' he told us. 'But I do bark a lot'.

2. Golfing firm Leaderboard is to ban Eye Candy Caddies, a service providing female models in skimpy outfits as caddies. The move was the brainwave of Benjamin Webb, MD of its new PR agency Deliberate PR. It generated coverage, but Webb insisted this was not his sole motivation. The service was banned because it is 'naff, ghastly, retrograde sexism'. They have a point.

3. Andrew Marr visited the Idea Generation gallery last Saturday for the 'Battle of the Cartoonists', where cartoonists from The Guardian, The Independent and members of the Professional Cartoonists Organisation competed to create 'colourful banners on topical themes'.
