Hanover has signed up T-Mobile UK public affairs manager James Wild as the agency looks to drive forward its growth in the communications sector. Wild joins as account director and will work with clients such as BSkyB and mobile phone firm 3. Wild was previously a consultant at Politics Direct and has worked in Conservative Central Office.

Quintus has appointed former Grayling consultant Oli Winton to the role of account director. He will be working on accounts including Rank, Racing UK and Good Energy.

APCO director Tamsin Richmond-Watson is leaving the agency after 11 years 'to pursue new opportunities'. The agency confirmed her departure in a statement. APCO last month reshuffled its London office, promoting Edward Walsh to MD as Darren Murphy becomes head of APCO's 'services to governments' practice.

Bell Pottinger Public Affairs MD David Sowells is to depart the agency's London office to take up a role working for Bell Pottinger USA. Sowells confirmed the move but was unable to provide details as PRWeek went to press. He joined Bell Pottinger as a director in 2004, becoming MD in 2007. Before Bell Pottinger, Sowells worked for the Labour Party and as director of public affairs at AOL Time Warner
