STOP PRESS: UKOOA appoints Harris as comms chief

The UK Offshore Operators Association (UKOOA), which represents the offshore oil and gas industry, has hired Steve Harris as its first communications director. He joins from the Consumers’ Association, where he was been communications director. One of Harris’s first tasks will be to recruit an assistant director of communications to focus on political and government affairs.
