Fashion casual wear company Joe Bloggs has hired Union PR for a
pounds 60,000 business-to- business and consumer account.
Joe Bloggs, which has global annual sales of around pounds 65 million,
has handled its own PR for the last few years, but as it has expanded,
its PR department has become overloaded and in need of extra help.
Bushra Ahmed, managing director of Joe Bloggs, said: ’I’ve rarely been
happy with external PR companies but (Union) has given indications that
it has its finger on the pulse.’
Union will organise activities plus possible sponsorship deals with
nightclubs and music companies, to recreate Joe Bloggs’ presence in the
15- to 35-year-olds clothes market.
There was no competitive pitch for the work.
