PUBLIC SECTOR: Diabetic association beefs up communications

The British Diabetic Association is to beef up its communications function with the creation of three new jobs as part of an ongoing strategic review by external communications head Mark Flannagan. A public affairs officer will be appointed to promote the association at Westminster. The post will report directly to Flannagan and will be supported by an assistant public affairs officer, another newly-created role.
