Bacardi-Martini hands drinks brief to Nelson Bostock

Drinks giant Bacardi-Martini has hired Nelson Bostock to promote its portfolio of drink brands, which include Bacardi rum and Bombay Sapphire gin.

its portfolio of drink brands, which include Bacardi rum and Bombay

Sapphire gin.



Fees amount to more than pounds 100,000 for the trade account, won last

week after a three-way pitch. Incumbent agency Input did not

repitch.



The target audience for the firm’s brand ranges from clubs, for drinks

like Metz, to the hotel and catering industry, for drinks like

Martini.



Other brands within the brief include Mateus Rose and Glenmorangie malt

whiskey, as well as the Bacardi and Martini brand extensions, such as

Breezer and V2.



The agency’s brief is to raise awareness of the company’s drinks

portfolio in what is a competitive marketplace by supporting various

campaigns.



Agencies running consumer PR campaigns for the company include Camron

PR, which handles Bombay Sapphire gin and Bacardi 8, and Capitalize,

which handles Bacardi rum.



Bacardi-Martini’s rivals include Diageo, which owns brands including

Guinness, and Seagram’s, which owns various whiskey brands.
