She joins from Dublin-based Drury Communications where she was head of its consumer division. She also previously worked at FD Communications and Ogilvy in Dublin.
She has 15 years experience in healthcare and consumer communications. Her healthcare work spans ethical, over-the-counter and nutrition remits for pharmaceutical copmanies including Wyeth, GlaxoSmithKline, Boehringer Ingelheim, Novartis and AstraZeneca.
She has also directed integrated brand strategies for blue chip companies including Pepsico, Kellogg's, Unilever, Danone and General Motors.
The London arm of WeissComm was set up last year by former Edelman UK healthcare director and joint CEO Nigel Breakwell. The agency has already signed up 10 clients including pharma firms Pfizer and Bristol-Myers Squibb.
