LONDON: Four Shandwick offices have jointly won an account to
promote Hollywood-based entertainment company, Special Entertainment
Events, in Europe and the US.
The first project Shandwick will work on is Titanic: The Official Movie
Tour, an attraction based on this year’s box office hit, Titanic. The
event opens in London next month.
The account was won after a competitive pitch held in Dusseldorf and
London. It will be led by London-based Shandwick Welbeck, in
co-operation with Shandwick Travel and Leisure, Shandwick Munich and
Shandwick’s American specialist entertainment agency, Rogers and
Cowan.
Shandwick’s brief includes PR and convincing convention centres across
the world of the benefits of hosting film or TV-based attractions. The
initial brief is for two months covering Europe and the US. This is
expected to be extended into next year to cover Asia and Australia as
other projects arise.
