INTERNATIONAL: Trimedia parent increases stake in German branch

FRANKFURT: Trimedia Deutschland, the number four German agency in the PR Week league tables, has re-established its links with its former parent company in Switzerland. Since 1992 Trimedia Deutschland chief executive Bodo Bimboese has been the majority shareholder with a 75 per cent stake in the German agency. The Swiss company, Trimedia International, has now increased its 25 per cent share to 90 per cent to hold the majority of the capital and voting rights.

FRANKFURT: Trimedia Deutschland, the number four German agency in

the PR Week league tables, has re-established its links with its former

parent company in Switzerland. Since 1992 Trimedia Deutschland chief

executive Bodo Bimboese has been the majority shareholder with a 75 per

cent stake in the German agency. The Swiss company, Trimedia

International, has now increased its 25 per cent share to 90 per cent to

hold the majority of the capital and voting rights.



Bimboese has joined the Trimedia International supervisory board, with

responsibility for international development. Bodo Kirf, a director at

the German agency, takes on the role of chief executive from

Bimboese.



Trimedia International has purchased the shares as part of a plan to

build its European presence, first in Germany and Switzerland and then

in France and Austria.
