The Media Group, a specialist broadcast agency, kicked off the

Christmas party season with a shindig in Vauxhall adjacent to the MI5

building.

Celebrity guests included ex-Blue Peter presenters John Leslie and Tim

Vincent, Gladiators Hunter and Rhino, and sports presenter Des

Lynam.

Clearly intent on drawing maximum attention to itself, the Media Group

beamed a huge ’M’ on to the MI5 building. Whether this was a wise move

will become apparent because the secret service is certain to have them

under surveillance after seeing some of the dubious characters hanging

around the entrance.

On the night in question Vauxhall was invaded with transvestites, fire

eaters and buskers, all hired by the Media Group to spice up the

party.

PR people from Consolidated Communications, Hill and Knowlton and

Shandwick were also spotted lurking around.

The Media Group could also be facing scrutiny from outside MI5. The

fraud squad may be interested in its invitation’s boast of ’unlimited

credit’ at the free bar after several disgruntled revellers were seen

leaving having been asked to (shock, horror!) pay for gin and tonics.
