Fleishman-Hillard UK is facing a review on its account with Busch
Entertainment Corporation, a subsidiary of one of the agency’s founding
clients in the US, brewing group Anheuser-Busch.
Busch Entertainment Corporation owns nine US theme parks, including the
Sea World marine life park in Orlando.
Fred Jacobs, corporate director of PR for Busch, spent two weeks in the
UK last month and saw a shortlist of seven agencies, including
Fleishman-Hillard. He expects to make an appointment next week.
The account, worth around pounds 100,000, will focus on consumer and
travel trade promotion, particularly promoting Busch’s Florida
destinations.
’Florida is the UK’s number one long haul destination and we have one
million UK visitors to our parks each year,’ said Jacobs.
Fleishman-Hillard UK has worked for the theme parks since 1989. The
agency also handles Anheuser-Busch’s corporate account in the UK.
