STOP PRESS: Report raps Chadlington over ROH
Lord Chadlington, chairman of Shandwick and the Royal Opera House, has been severely criticised by a House of Commons Select Committee’s report on the Opera House. The enquiry has concluded that Chadlington is, along with the Opera House’s board of directors, unfit to ’receive and administer public money’. Chadlington told PR Week that he admitted that financial controls of the Opera House should be improved, saying: ’As I made clear to the Select Committee, I and the other directors put the interests of the Opera House before anything else.’
