PR EUROPE: DUBLIN - Brown to speak for Sinn Fein

Michael Brown is tipped to take the job of Sinn Fein’s press officer at all-party peace talks starting in Belfast on 15 September. Brown, who is still press officer for Sinn Fein’s ’Prisoners of War’ division, is understood to be trying to juggle a heavy workload to undertake the new role. The IRA’s political wing was allowed to join the talks after security chiefs told the Government that the ceasefire of 19 July was ’genuine in word and deed’.
