STOP PRESS: Tories warn against Labour PR tool

The Conservative Party has warned against the use of a new computerised Government PR tool being developed by the Department of Health. MINTS (Ministerial Information Networking Technology) is modelled on Excalibur, the computer used by Labour during the election. A Tory spokesman warned that if the system is used to further party politics, the Conservatives would ’clamp down heavily’ on use of public funds for party ends.
