Wildlife Trusts recruits Audemars

UK conservation charity the Wildlife Trusts has appointed Caroline Audemars as its first communications director. She replaces the charity’s former PR manager Simon Forrester, who left in August this year to set up communications and media consultancy Thackray Forrester (PR Week, 24 July). Since then, the charity has merged its marketing, fundraising and communications departments and upgraded the post of PR manager to communications director. Audemars will report to marketing director Bob Edwards. She joins from the National Trust, where she was chief press officer.
