Body Shop last month (PR Week, 20 November)has been followed by two more

senior departures from the PR department.

Media relations and internal communications head Didier Lagae announced

his resignation on Monday this week and market liaison head Andrea Fiore

left the company last week.

Neither he nor Fiore have announced their next move.

Both had reported to Galanti, who joined the Body Shop in April

1997.

Lagae was appointed by Galanti a year ago and Fiore had only been with

the company since April this year.

Galanti resigned after the company’s new chief executive, Patrick

Gournay, decided to reorganise her department and appoint a marketing

expert to oversee it.

As part of the reorganisation, Lagae and Fiore would have found

themselves reporting to the two other communications section heads

rather than to the new departmental head.

’I am looking to find something less chaotic and more empowering,’ said

Lagae.
