Coca-Cola was named as the greatest ‘Superbrand’ at the Superbrands
Awards this week. Category winners were also announced covering 14
sectors from charities to tobacco. PR consultancy Charles Barker was
among the event’s sponsors. Meanwhile, it was revealed that research by
Infratest Burke had shown that five superbrands - American Express,
Andrex PG Tips, St Michael and Virgin - are considered more ‘reliable,
trustworthy, caring, up to date and exciting’ than the Labour Party.
