Max Clifford Associates (MCA) has clinched four PR contracts, worth an
estimated total of pounds 50,000.
Clifford and his team of three have been hired by Talk Radio on a ‘month
by month’ basis. The publicist said he will use his ‘contacts and
clients’ to supply the station with exclusives to gain further
coverage.
MCA has also been appointed by Pete Waterman’s record label PWL to gain
coverage in the national and teenage press for its new band Awesome.
The four boy group won a competition on the Saturday children’s TV show
Stratchy and Co to release a single but have been taken on by Waterman
on a two album deal.
MCA has meanwhile been hired by the beautician chain Pamela Stevens on a
12-month contract to raise its profile in the national media.
The company is aiming to attract franchisees to take over the running of
its 11 London-based outlets.
Finally, MCA is to work for Publisher Rushmere Wynne on a three-month
contract to publicise Housequake; its guide for home buyers and sellers
which will be launched at the end of the month.
MCA, based in New Bond Street, consists of PR consultants Clare Ellison
and Sean Pritchard and Clifford’s PA Ali Lipman.
