Departure: Sarah Talbot-Williams

Sarah Talbot-Williams has been at the children’s cancer charity since 2004. She joined as head of comms and campaigning, was promoted to director and has been interim CEO for the last five months.

She will leave her role in September to become CEO of Above and Beyond, the charity that works with University Hospitals Bristol Foundation Trust to improve health care for patients across Bristol and the South West.

‘It was an amazing development opportunity and after a life-time career in PR and the broad strategic communications, it is great to have made that step up to the organisational leadership role’, she said.

Prior to CLIC Sargent, Talbot-Williams ran her own consultancy and was at learning disability charity Mencap as its first head of comms. She has also worked at deafblind charity Sense.

CLIC Sargent has recruited Dominic O’Reilly as interim director of comms and campaigning. He joins from Afghan Aid where he was UK director. He has previously been comms director at Media Trust. The charity will recruit a permanent director in the autumn.
