PR EUROPE: STOCKHOLM - Nyberg leaves Bergstrom

Jacob Nyberg, a former partner at top five Swedish PR agency Jerry Bergstrom, is considering his future after a failed management coup which ended in his resignation. Nyberg, who still owns 20 percent of the agency, resigned at the beginning of June after trying to increase his share to 51 percent.His plan was to distribute shares to key PR consultants inside and outside the group. Founder Jerry Bergstrom who owns 80 percent of the company, refused to sell. He said: ’Jacob had ambitions to be managing director and the main owner, but I have never seen him in that role.’
