Brazen to promote Breville appliances and Hasbro board game campaign

Pulse Home Products has appointed Brazen to handle PR for its Breville electrical appliances brand.

Brazen will particularly focus on promoting the ‘Antony Worrall Thompson by Breville’ range. It will work with Thompson and Pulse to position the brand as the professional but easy-to-use choice for home cooks. Tactics include a VIP media event at Thompson’s home, and the launch of a You Tube channel where Thompson will demonstrate how to cook dishes including chicken pie and bangers and mash. Brazen already works on Pulse’s Nicky Clarke professional haircare range.

The agency has also won a brief from Hasbro to launch a five-week campaign called ‘Family Game Night’ which aims to get the nation to play more board games. The campaign, which will include a stunt in London and celebrity endorsement, will kick off on 14 September. It will also handle consumer and trade PR in the UK for board games Trivial Pursuit and a hand-held electronic game Bop It!. Brazen already handles the global PR for Hasbro’s Monopoly board game.
