Burson-Marsteller has beaten Alexander Ogilvy to handle corporate
PR for Hewlett-Packard spin-off Newco, an account rumoured to have a
budget of pounds 900,000 (PR Week, 14 May). Newco comprises the
non-computer divisions of Hewlett-Packard, and the company is planning
to float the entity on the New York stock exchange early next year.
