Taylor Woodrow, the international construction, housing, property and
trading group, has appointed Grandfield for strategic financial PR
The agency is believed to have won the business after a competitive
pitch against at least two other firms.
Grandfield will be providing consultancy advice to Matthew Moth, Taylor
Woodrow’s head of corporate communications, and to other senior
executives. The account will be headed by agency managing director
Taylor Woodrow faltered during the early 1990s due to the property
slump, board changes and restructuring. It is now seen to be recovering
although preliminary results, last week, showed a 9.5 per cent
reduction in pre-tax profits to pounds 46 million, despite a 17 per cent
rise in operating profits to pounds 53 million.
