It has been heartening to see the interest which PR Week has shown in
this year’s presidential election for the IPR. We need our trade
newspaper to be an active participant in the debate about the future of
the industry.
Voting in the election closed this week and I hope that the turnout is
higher than in previous years. It is vitally important that as many
members as possible exercise their democratic voice.
There is still much to be done to ensure that our business commands the
respect which it deserves, but this will not be achieved by apathy.
