Ann Summers, purveyor of lingerie, novelty items and sex toys of all
shapes and sizes, has hired Condor Public Relations to promote the
autobiography of managing director Jacqueline Gold. On sale next week,
the book’s launch has been timed to coincide with the run-up to
Christmas and the fifteenth anniversary of the Ann Summers party plan,
some 8,000 of which take place in the UK each week.
