Ben & Jerry's sees agencies in comms strategy rethink

Ben & Jerry's is holding secret talks with PR agencies as it begins a rethink of its communications strategy.

The Unilever-owned ice cream brand has been meeting with consumer PR agencies to look through their credentials.

A number of agencies have already met with Ben & Jerry's UK brand manager Vicky Willis.

Ben & Jerry's uses Cake to handle consumer and trade PR and product placement.

However, Cake insisted its account was not going out for pitch.

The ice cream brand held its annual Sundae Festival on the weekend of 25-26 July on London's Clapham Common.
