Czech Republic’s fifth largest PR agency Eklektik Communications
has won two European Union projects in central Europe. In Poland
Eklektik will provide PR support in the Czerwona Woda River Basin as
part of the EU’s Phare Black Triangle Project. The program is designed
to elicit public support for improving the local environment. In the
Czech Republic Eklektik will produce a newsletter for the EU, targeting
4,000 business people with updates on Phare’s funding schemes for
central and Eastern European firms (See main story). ’This is a way for
the EU to open up communications with interested people in the Czech
Republic,’ says Anthony Hemstad, director and founder of Eklektik.
