INTERNATIONAL: Clap will head communications at Disneyland Paris

PARIS: Theme park Disneyland Paris has appointed Isabelle Clap as corporate communications director.

PARIS: Theme park Disneyland Paris has appointed Isabelle Clap as

corporate communications director.



Clap, previously information head at French bank Banque Nationale de

Paris, replaces Philippe Ravannas at Disneyland Paris. Ravannas has

moved to a role in its marketing services division.



As part of her remit Clap is charged with enlarging Disneyland Paris’

French communications team. A Disneyland Paris spokeswoman said that it

was too early to provide details of any changes.



Clap is responsible for Disneyland Paris’ communications across

France.



PR for the UK and other markets is handled separately. Nicole Walsh is

head of public relations for the UK.



Disneyland Paris is owned by Euro Disney. Last year the company last

year made profits of pounds 23 million. The theme park receives around

10 million visitors a year and also owns six hotels near its park site

which have 5,700 rooms between them.



Euro Disney’s next project is the construction of a 500-acre town near

Disneyland Paris. This will include a shopping mall, business park and a

university campus.
