IT services company ICL has appointed Banner McBride to conduct a
global review of its internal communications as part of the company’s
’One ICL’ initiative - a drive to bring its different business units in
over 70 countries under a single brand.
The agency will look at how ICL can consolidate its internal
communications message on a global level. James Harkness, director of
consultancy for Banner McBride, said: ’We will be conducting over 50
interviews with those responsible for internal communications across the
globe. We will then use an e-mail questionnaire to obtain quantitative
information. This will allow us to tailor the contents of a major
internal communications conference in mid-July around the key issues
identified by those in the field.’
ICL employs over 19,000 staff worldwide and recorded profits of pounds
49 million in 1997.
