Emap has taken its first steps into television broadcasting by setting
up Kiss TV through its wholly-owned radio subsidiary Kiss 100 FM.
Kiss TV has been set up in an independent production deal with Mirror
Group-owned national cable network Live TV to take advatange of the
popularity of dance music. The new station will provide Live TV with
four one-hour shows each week during its 12-month contract. The
programmes will be based on a mix of music, clubs and lifestyle material
and the first will go out on 30 May.
‘Since our early days as a pirate we have always had a vision to extend
Kiss 100 to TV and a nationwide audience. Kiss TV is an exciting
addition to the Kiss family along with Kiss 102 in Manchester,’ said

Kiss 100 FM.
