STOP PRESS: AMV profits from PR and marketing

Advertising, PR and marketing group Abbott Mead Vickers derived 59 per cent of its 1997 profits from its marketing services companies, which include Freud Communications, Fishburn Hedges and Aurelia PR, according to the group’s annual report. The figure is up from 39 per cent in 1994.

according to the group’s annual report. The figure is up from 39 per

cent in 1994.



Marketing services saw a 22 per cent growth in turnover during the year,

partly due to acquisitions including Freud’s purchase of Aurelia in July

1997.
