Last month, a gunman chased another man into Harry Morgan, a popular restaurant in London’s St John's Wood area. He opened fire five times shooting a man in the leg. At the time the Detective Inspector Jeffrey told the BBC, ‘it’s unbelievable no-one was murdered’.

Neil Reading PR has now been brought in to reassure potential customers and promote its refurbishment and updated menu.

Head of lifestyle Charlie Mason-Pearson said the agency has been asked to ‘make sure the public know the gunmen weren’t restaurant customers and that it is business as usual.’

The agency will also be making journalists aware that the restaurant was redecorated in the aftermath of the incident, and will be targeting food and drink and reviews pages to taste its updated menu. It will particularly focus on the restaurant’s famous salt beef. The agency will also target showbiz pages because celebrities visit regularly.

The brand, which owns a place in Harrods and Fenwicks, is also about to expand into the Baltics.
