Paul O’Donoghue, who joined the group from ad agency Golley Slater, admitted the PR industry faced challenges as it attempted to integrate digital: ‘It’s not playing a big part. People are talking about it and producing great ideas but not everyone understands the delivery and measurement.’
But O’Donoghue said he was ‘quite happy’ with his efforts at Bell Pottinger.
O’Donoghue declined to reveal his destination. He added that Bell Pottinger was working on a succession plan to cover his departure at the end of August.
