Broadcaster NBC is seeking a new PR head to report directly to its
head of West Coast operations, Scott Sassa, who is undertaking a
personal search to fill the role. Sassa wants to recruit a top-level
player to help counter the ratings losses suffered by NBC. Stepping into
the breach until someone can be found to head press and publicity is
Rebecca Marks, recently promoted from director of long-term series to
vice-president of entertainment publicity.
Sassa is understood to be looking to recruit at a senior
vice-presidential level, the equivalent of a board director in the UK.
