Lewis Communications is poised to open new offices in Singapore, France
and Germany as part of an expansionist drive by the hi-tech agency.
The three new offices, which are being launched on the back of existing
client business, are due to open by next summer.
Lewis, which came 22nd in this year’s PR Week hi-tech league table with
income of almost pounds 575,000, is also looking to recruit five new
staff, including two at account director level.
The agency, which currently has 24 staff based at offices in London,
Boston and Santiago, is also looking to move to larger London premises.
Managing director Chris Lewis, who established the agency in 1989, said
the expansion in staff and offices followed this year’s 60 per cent rise
in business.
‘We are looking to open more offices,’ Lewis told PR Week. ‘Our main
concern is that we grow as fast as we can without losing our distinctive
culture. It is important to us that we transplant our UK culture; not
because we are xenophobic but because it is hard-working and relaxed and
we feel it works.’
