Euro Plus, the European hi-tech PR network, has scooped two
international accounts worth an estimated pounds 350,000 in combined
fees.
The ten-member network has been hired by Internet software company
Asymetrix to boost its corporate profile in the UK, France, Italy,
Spain, eastern Europe, Scandinavia, South Africa and India.
PR for Asymetrix in the UK and France was previously handled by Text
100, while Interprom and Image Time respectively managed the account in
Germany and Italy. When the company decided to review the business last
month it asked Image Time to pitch against Text 100.
Led out of Milan by Myriam Koppel, Euro Plus president and Image Time
partner, work will focus on building Asymetrix’s profile in the PC and
IT trade press as a dynamic Internet and multimedia service provider.
The agencies will also highlight the company’s links with Microsoft.
Based in the US, Asymetrix was founded in 1985 by Paul Allen, co-founder
of Microsoft, and includes the software giant among its clients.
Euro Plus has also picked up business from NovaSoft, the US document and
work flow management software company. The company opened its European
headquarters in Munich in September and intends to open branches in the
UK, France, Germany and Italy early next year.
The account will be headed up by Euro Plus’s German partner Fink und
Fuchs out of their office in Wiesbaden.
