Anita Scott, former head of press and PR for TSB, has emerged at

Brunswick Public Relations three months after quitting the bank.

Scott joined the corporate and financial consultancy last week as an

associate director following a lengthy holiday. Although she declined to

name them, Scott said she would be working on a range of financial

services clients.

‘My financial services expertise will be put to good use,’ she said.

‘Brunswick has its own style of doing things, but most of my background

has been in consultancy, so I am familiar with the environment.’

Scott left TSB at the end of July, seven months after the bank merged

with Lloyds. Based in Birmingham, she headed a press and publicity team

of eight for four years. Before that she was an account director at

Burson-Marsteller for five years.

The Lloyds TSB merger in December prompted an exodus of communications

staff from TSB. Media relations manager Graham Wallace quit in February

while head of public affairs Andrew Ketteringham left in September.

Public relations for the group is now led by John Robson, head of

corporate communications.

* Brunswick is advising Peacocks, the Cardiff-based discount retailer

which has been tipped for a stock market flotation. Financial director

Phil Baker said that the agency was handling trade press relations as

well as City communications. The company runs around 170 stores under

the Peacock name and a further 50 trading as Milletts Camping and

Countrywear.
