The Midlands consultancy was chosen from 50 nationwide agencies to champion Urban Living for revitalising run-down neighbourhoods in inner-city Birmingham and parts of Sandwell.
Urban Living is one of nine government housing market renewal pathfinders nationally, which aim to rebuild communities in some of the UK's most deprived areas.
Better PR aims to build Urban Living's reputation and highlight how it is making a positive difference to people's lives.
Better PR consultant Sophie Hunt will lead the account, supported by executive Roz Golds.
Hunt said: 'Our overall theme is based on the real life experiences of people and how their lives have changed thanks to Urban Living. Through a mix of media relations, direct and e-marketing, we will clearly demonstrate how Urban Living is successfully working to overcome the significant challenges of the area.'
