ABC Berlin has won the international PR account for millennium trade fair Expo 2000 in Hanover. The contract was awarded after a four-way pitch against other agencies with international networks. ABC Berlin is part of the Euro RSCG International network. According to ABC Berlin managing director Michael Schroeder, the aim of the campaign is to generate awareness for the world exhibition through media relations in countries such as France, the UK, the Netherlands, Spain, Italy, Switzerland, Austria, Sweden, Denmark and the US. National PR is to be carried out in-house by Expo 2000 in Hanover.
