PUBLIC SECTOR: Maritime agency to buy in safety promotion

The Maritime and Coastguard Agency is seeking an external PR agency to guide a campaign to reduce the number of children involved in seaside incidents. The move is being taken after another hot summer has brought its toll of deaths and accidents at sea. The government agency plans to retain a PR agency for three years. Its brief will be to design and execute a safety campaign aimed at the under-14s. Mark Clarke, PR manager at the agency, will be the project manager overseeing the campaign.
