Argos invited model and TV presenter Melinda Messenger to help
chief executive Terry Duddy launch the company’s home shopping service
this week, writes Steven Singh. Ogilvy PR Worldwide organised the
launch, having been appointed to promote the home shopping service,
Argos Direct, at the beginning of July, after pitching against Hill and
Knowlton. The launch of the service is accompanied by a new look for
Argos catalogues and stores, which includes new corporate colours.
