STOP PRESS: Brooks takes on Guardian women’s role

The Guardian has appointed Libby Brooks to edit its women’s coverage.

The Guardian has appointed Libby Brooks to edit its women’s

coverage.



Brooks was made deputy women’s editor in 1995 but left last year to go

travelling after winning an award for best young journalist. She

replaces Sally Weale, who left last year on maternity leave and has not

returned.
