Flack: Virgin Atlantic's 25th birthday

1. Virgin Atlantic's 25th anniversary press trip to New York proved the PR event of the year so far. Hacks sipping champagne in the Heathrow lounge watched as Kate Moss wing-walked in a pair of killer heels. Two female journalists told Flack they were glad she wasn't coming to the airline's party later that night to upstage them.

2. The champagne-swigging continued with Flack spying Holly and Sam Branson at the Big Apple's swanky M2 nightclub in the early hours. The morning after, Richard Branson's kids helped him launch travel social network vinspired by playing a game of Twister. Sam quipped: 'This isn't something you want to do on a hangover.'

3. Virgin Atlantic's comms director Paul Charles (far left) masterminded the trip's 92 per cent positive coverage. But he is still nursing a slapped wrist. During a press conference, Branson couldn't read his notes, turned to Charles and warned him to make his writing clearer.
