What's it good for?
Sherlock's Grill is great for impressing clients in a relaxed, yet chic atmosphere. The hotel has a buzzing cocktail bar and terrace to enjoy people watching. The 'open kitchen' also allows you to watch your food being prepared.
The grilled king scallops with sweet and sour seaweed leaves, and the duck foie gras, spicy apple compote and toasted butter brioche, were both outstanding for starters. For mains, the poached fillet of Scottish salmon with risotto nero and baby squid was fantastic.
Who's the boss?
We were looked after very well on the day by Adam Gabor, the F&B manager, who was helpful, attentive and knowledgeable about the dishes on offer. Our food was prepared by Mustafa Ouargli, the senior sous chef.

What's the damage?
Sherlock's Grill is currently offering 50 per cent off the food bill. Therefore, our two-course lunch without alcohol came to £27.
