Electrical Safety Council picks Six for teen education programme

The Electrical Safety Council has brought in Six to educate teenagers on safety in the home.

The youth marketing specialist will kick off an educational campaign aimed at 11-16 year olds, teachers and parents in September.

It will develop web-based music content and a competition to drive teenagers to a new website that has advice on keeping safe, and careers in the electrical industry.

The agency believes that using music will be an effective way to get its electical safety messages across, because teenagers use electricity to listen to music.

The contract is for four months and was won following a competitive pitch.
