- What is it good for?

Located just off Regent Street in the newly pedestrianised food quarter, Momo remains a strong option if you are out to impress. The mix of reputable cuisine and decadent interior make for a memorable experience.

- Signature dish

The menu is split into traditional Moroccan and Momo's interpretation on Maghreb cuisine. Authentic dishes, prepared with fresh North African ingredients, are served with drama in traditional tagines. Mutton carpaccio and ribeye steak are among the more contemporary dishes on the menu.

- Who's the boss?

The restaurant is owned by critically acclaimed restaurateur Mourad 'Momo' Mazouz, who works with head chef Mohamed Ourad to create the menu.

- Tips please?

For informal meetings, enjoy mezze and people-watching out on the terrace. On Tuesday evenings, there is live music from acoustic soul to Persian trip-hop.

- What's the damage?

Set lunch menu with two-courses for £15 or three-courses for £19. For those in a hurry, there is a quick lunch special for just £6.75.
