They underpin the industry's professionalism, supplying those entering the industry with the essential skills, knowledge and practical experience needed to work as effective PR practitioners. With the grounding, context and learning skills that a PR degree will provide, graduates are well equipped to take on new information and techniques to keep pace with our dynamic industry.
Valuing PR degrees too lightly undermines our own credibility as a profession. We need to continue to invest in them to ensure we maintain and increase the standard of tomorrow's professionals. If we do not, we will be doing ourselves and the next generation of PR professionals a disservice.
