Ex-Midas staffers launch arts and entertainment shop Flint PR

Three Midas PR staffers have left the firm to set up their own arts and entertainment agency.

Flint PR will be launched later this month by directors Digby Halsby, Oliver Balston and Lucy Dickinson.

Clients already signed up include publishes Simon & Schuster, Random House and Quartet.

Flint PR will specialise in the ‘cultural' communications industry and will service the arts and publishing sector. It will offer profile raising, brand development and sales generation services.

Halsby was team account director at Midas and managed campaigns for writer Germaine Greer and footballer Pelé. Balston represented clients including Virgin Media at Midas, while Dickenson worked on the The Commonwealth Writers' Prize account.
